Mula River (India)
Mula is a tributary of the Bhima River in Deccan India. It passes through the towns of Pune and Khadki. Biologists have recorded 108 species of fish, 102 flowering plant species, 130 bird species in and around the river and surrounding areas. This river origins from Mulshi Dam near Pune-India & later named as Mula-Mutha river when its tributary Mutha joins it in the middle of Pune city (near College of Engineering, Pune, one of the oldest in the country).
